homemade and gluten free!
I've been wanting to make corn tortillas by hand for a long time now and at long last the time came! it's very very simple. more time consuming than a microwavable burrito but infused with all the happy loving energy of human goodness. I also made mine very garlicky. human goodness might taste of garlic too.
basically you buy some masa, put it in a bowl with salt and garlic if you like, and add water until it is a play-dough consistency. flatten it out with a rolling pin or something heavy, and pan fry on both sides until slightly charred and totally gorgeous. this website has more precise directions if you want that. I know you will love these.
