here we have:
sauteed kale
broccoli
crispy tofu
ginger mushrooms
spaghetti squash
alfalfa sprouts
charred peppers
crazy awesome miso sauce
dinner eaten from a bowl, as usual. this was a nice little recovery meal after a weekend of family get together where thomas ate burgers and I ate chips and pickles and ice cream cake. it's nice to have fun food but we miss vegetables! this was literally plant on plant goodness.
if you are at all interested, these are some of the most incredible, though common, inexpensive and easy-to-find foods. they are very medicinal and especially with the addition of the miso, which is super healing, and the ginger and garlic, which are all anti-inflammatory, anti-sickness, and dare I say it, anti-cancer. also delicious! the sauce was made by blending half of an avocado, maybe half a cup of chickpeas, and the miso, ginger, garlic, bragg's liquid aminos, nutritional yeast and a little water. very salty but it balanced everything nicely. incredible.
